Predict. Detect. Protect.
DELTTA SUNMASS is developing an AI-driven safety platform designed to anticipate lithium-ion battery thermal runaway before it becomes a fire.
Batteries power everything. When one fails, it can fail fast.
Thermal runaway is a self-accelerating reaction inside a lithium-ion cell. Once it starts, heat and flammable gases can spread to neighbouring cells, and conventional suppression often arrives after the damage has begun.
From e-bikes and electric vehicles to data-center backup power and grid storage, the need is the same: earlier warning and a coordinated response before a fault becomes a fire.

A four-phase safety protocol
The NEX GEN platform is being designed to work across the full life of a fault, from first warning signs to containment.
Proactive monitoring
Continuous attention to battery condition, designed to keep cells within safe operating limits.
Early warning
Multiple independent signal types combined so that emerging faults can be identified sooner.
Coordinated response
A protective response intended to act automatically when risk crosses defined thresholds.
Damage control
Isolation and alerting designed to limit spread and support people and first responders.
Monitor. Analyse. Respond.
How the NEX GEN platform is being designed to work, in three steps. Performance targets are subject to independent validation.
Continuous monitoring
Sensors are designed to track temperature, voltage, pressure, and gas conditions inside the battery housing at all times.
AI analysis
Machine-learning models are being developed to recognise anomalies and the early patterns that can precede thermal runaway.
Automated response
When risk is detected, the system is intended to coordinate alerts, isolation, and suppression automatically.
Built for the places batteries matter most
“Battery safety is a public-interest issue. Our job is to prove, through independent testing, that fires can be anticipated and stopped earlier.”

Partner on a pilot, or request investor access
We are seeking data-center operators, energy-storage integrators, OEMs, and test laboratories to help take NEX GEN from prototype to independently validated system.
