Prototype build
Assembly of a documented prototype configuration.
Internal functional checkout
Recorded checks that each subsystem works as designed.
Independent laboratory testing
Testing by an accredited, independent laboratory.
Field pilot
A monitored deployment with a pilot partner.
Standards we intend to test against
We intend to test against recognised battery and fire-safety methods, such as the UL 9540A test method for battery energy storage. The exact standards and editions will be confirmed with the selected laboratory. NEX GEN has not yet been certified to any standard.
Working with independent labs
Laboratory and pilot partners will be named here only after a written agreement is in place. Accredited laboratories interested in the program are welcome to contact us.
